Differences in Recreational, Academy, and Select Soccer at Plymouth Soccer Club

Are you ready to take your soccer skills to the next level? Registration is now open for Plymouth Soccer Club's Academy Soccer Program! Designed for young talents in the U9 through U10 age groups, our academy program offers a pathway beyond recreational play, serving as the perfect stepping stone for players looking to progress toward our Select Soccer program. Here's what you need to know about our Academy Soccer Program: What Sets Us Apart: In our Academy Program, we cultivate a more competitive environment where players can sharpen their skills and deepen their understanding of the game. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, we facilitate both soccer growth and personal development. We welcome participants from neighboring communities to join our ranks and unleash their potential on the field. Registration Details: There are no tryouts for Academy Teams. We do request that parents and players understand the higher level of commitment expected before registering. The age range is U10 as determined by the player's birth year. Teams will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis. PlymouthSC reserves the right to withhold fielding a team, in which case registration fees will be refunded, and opportunities will be made available at the Rec level. Cost per player is $225, which includes the Fall and Spring Seasons. Each team will participate in festivals, which is included in that cost. Uniform fees are in addition to player fees and the responsibility of the family to purchase. Players will be provided with purchasing instructions at an initial team meeting. Any travel and lodging costs incurred are not covered by the player fees. What Can I Expect with Training: High-quality training sessions tailored to age and talent. Pre-planned sessions approved by the Club's Director of Coaching and Player Development to align with players' needs and goals. Training typically takes place 2-3 days a week, providing ample time for players to work on technical, tactical skills, and physical fitness. Coaching: Our coaching staff is expected to meet high professionalism and expertise, holding appropriate coaching licenses and receiving ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and strategies. Game Schedules: Academy teams participate in two seasons (Fall and Spring) of 8 games, both home at the QQO complex and away throughout the Southeast Wisconsin region. Get ready for a season of fun, friendship, and soccer! Plymouth Soccer Club is excited to announce the opening of registration for our Fall/Spring recreational soccer program for the 2025/26 season. We welcome kids from 4K through 8th grade to join us for an unforgettable soccer experience. Registration Details: Registration for our Fall/Spring session starts May 1st and ends July 15th. Team formation is determined by grade. Divisions: U6 - 4K - K Grades U8 - 1st - 2nd Grades U10 - 3rd - 4th Grades U12 - 5th - 6th Grades U14 - 7th - 8th Grades * Coed teams are offered at all levels. Girls teams are offered for U6-U12 levels Players are placed on a team by mid-August and remain on the same team for the fall (September-November) and spring (April-June) seasons. League Participation: While our U6 program is offered completely in-house, our U8 - U14 teams participate in the Eastern Wisconsin Soccer League (EWSL). Teams play half of their games at home at the Quit Qui Oc fields, while the other half is played on the opposing team’s field. The EWSL clubs/teams are from Plymouth, New Holstein, Kiel, Random Lake, Waubedonia, Chilton, Sheboygan Falls, Port Washington, Brillion, Valders, Manitowoc Lutheran, Eden, and Manitowoc Lutheran. You may be scheduled to play these teams during your Fall/Spring season. U8 - U19 SOCCER CAMP Plymouth Soccer Club is excited to announce the return of the Esprit USA soccer camp, led by the renowned Coach Eric Kump. Held at Quit Qui Oc Sports Complex from July 21st to July 24th, 2025, this camp promises an exceptional summer soccer experience. Coach Kump brings a wealth of coaching expertise from the youth, college, and ODP regional and national levels. Known for his ability to develop players and teams to their fullest potential, Coach Kump and his team of expert coaches will provide personalized training and instruction. With a staff comprising college coaches, regional staff, and college players, participants can expect top-notch coaching. The camp will focus on enhancing players' technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall fitness, all while fostering a love for the game and instilling sportsmanship values.
